Standard export documents include the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin issued by the Chamber of Commerce, phytosanitary or health certificate, laboratory analysis (for example ISO 3632 for saffron and aflatoxin reports for nuts), and the bill of lading or air waybill.
Minimum order quantities depend on the commodity — typically from a few kilograms for saffron up to full container loads for dates, nuts and dried fruits. Mixed consignments can be consolidated in one container.
Payment is commonly arranged through letter of credit, advance transfer or agreed escrow via a third-country bank, with delivery on EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF or DAP terms under Incoterms 2020.
